We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a fast-growing Quebec-based technology company recognized internationally for its innovative solutions.

In this role, you will act as a key internal technical reference, ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of all IT systems.

Your role

You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT needs, contributing to both infrastructure management and end-user support.

Key responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations

• Manage and maintain IT environments (Cloud and On-Premise: Active Directory, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi, etc.)
• Ensure proper functioning of workstations and equipment
• Provide technical support to users (incident management, hardware/software troubleshooting)
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve internal processes
• Oversee telephony systems and certain databases

Security & Continuity

• Support the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies
• Manage backups and ensure business continuity
• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams on internal projects

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science (DEC or Bachelor’s)
• 3–5 years of experience in system administration or advanced technical support
• Fully bilingual (French/English)

Technical skills:

• Linux and Windows Server environments
• Networking (IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Virtualization tools (Docker, Hyper-V)
• Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Version control tools (Git, SVN)
• Experience with Dynamics 365 (asset)
