12 Aug Project Manager / Site Supervisor – Hybrid Position

Our client, Vytal Digital Infrastructure is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager / Site Supervisor (PM/SS) to join its operations team in Montreal. This hybrid role combines both project leadership and site supervision responsibilities, requiring flexibility to work from both the office and the field based on project needs.

This is a mid-level management position that plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, production, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Site Management

• Lead and coordinate the full project lifecycle from planning to close-out;
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, equipment and labor plans;
• Ensure quality, safety, and production standards are met on-site;
• Supervise site activities, subcontractor performance, and field supervisors.

Financial Oversight

• Manage project financials including job costing, WIP, expenses, and gross margin;
• Provide proactive input on operational decisions with a strong awareness of P&L impact.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

• Serve as the key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle;
• Handle kick-offs, daily reporting, site inspections, progress updates, and change orders;
• Oversee contract management and project invoicing.

Team Leadership

• Foster a performance-driven culture within the team;
• Oversee talent development, performance management, and team engagement;
• Ensure adherence to internal project management systems and protocols.

Tools & Systems

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Procore, Fulcrum, and SharePoint;
• Ensure compliance with company-wide PM systems and reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Telecommunications) or another relevant field;
• 5+ years of technical field experience in telecom infrastructure;
• 2+ years in project management with full-cycle and P&L accountability;
• Proven leadership in managing site teams and subcontractors;
• Strong communication skills in both English and French (bilingual required);
• Proficiency with project management and field documentation systems;
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to profitability and client satisfaction;
• Valid passport and willingness to travel when needed (30-40%).
