Job Description

We are looking for a Plant Manager to oversee the entire manufacturing operation, including production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety. The selected candidate will play a key role in optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement within the plant. They will act as a leader and coach, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, with a strong focus on health & safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Ensure optimal resource planning and production scheduling to meet business objectives.
• Implement and monitor the plant’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment and integration across teams.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze, propose, and implement quality control measures.
• Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, optimizing operational efficiency.
• Supervise equipment and production system upgrades and changes.
• Lead and manage a team of 90+ employees, fostering strong leadership and a culture of accountability.
• Ensure effective communication with different departments and other company divisions.

Candidate Profile

• University or college degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale production teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage unforeseen challenges, solve problems, and make strategic decisions.
• Advanced spoken and written French, with basic English required.
