Brand and Marketing Designer / Montreal

We are recruiting a Brand & Marketing Designer for a growing Montreal-based technology company, established 8 years ago and serving a broad international business clientele.

Profitable and independent, the company stands out for its small, agile team, entrepreneurial environment, and strong culture of innovation. It actively embraces AI, automation, and new ways of designing and producing content.

THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and technical team, you will take ownership of a significant part of the company’s visual universe and help shape the evolution of its brand identity.

The role combines original graphic creation, illustration, marketing design, digital content, video, and animation. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both creating and producing and who wants to have a visible impact on an evolving brand.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Creating original illustrations, icons, diagrams, infographics, and vector assets that make sometimes complex technical concepts easy to understand;
  • Designing visuals across marketing channels, including the website, landing pages, digital advertising, social media, email, and events;
  • Producing marketing materials such as guides, white papers, one-pagers, and presentations;
  • Creating and editing video content, including product demos, feature walkthroughs, and social content;
  • Animating your own creations using both traditional and AI-assisted tools;
  • Collaborating with the technical team on the ongoing evolution of the website;
  • Helping develop and maintain a cohesive visual design system;
  • Occasionally writing short copy or content to accompany your visual work.

THE PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Above all, we are looking for a creator, rather than someone whose experience is primarily focused on adapting existing templates.

IDEALLY YOU BRING :

  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience;
  • A strong ability to create original vector illustrations and assets as part of visually cohesive families or systems;
  • Solid visual fundamentals, including composition, typography, hierarchy, and layout;
  • Proficiency with Figma;
  • The ability to turn a complex or technical explanation into a clear, intuitive visual;
  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they can enhance the creative process;
  • The versatility to move between detailed illustration work and more day-to-day marketing production;
  • Enough writing ability to create short, clear copy to accompany your own visuals.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience in motion design or animation, video editing, 3D, or UX/UI would be an asset. Experience in a technology, SaaS, or B2B environment, as well as French-English bilingualism, would also be valuable.

What Will Really Make the Difference:
 YOUR PORTFOLIO:

We want to see your ability to create, not simply assemble: original illustrations, icon families, cohesive visual worlds, infographics, or other work that demonstrates strong drawing and vector design skills.

This role will particularly appeal to someone who is curious, autonomous, and versatile, and who wants to work within a small team where ideas can be implemented quickly and AI tools are viewed as a way to amplify creativity rather than replace it.

You should also enjoy variety. Some days will be focused on creation and illustration, while others may involve several different marketing deliverables — social media, advertising, video, or web content. That versatility is an important part of the role.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Permanent position
  • Hybrid: 1 day per week in the office
  • Office located on the Plateau in Montreal
  • Small, agile, entrepreneurial technology team
  • High degree of autonomy and the opportunity to have a direct impact on the evolution of the brand
